Later becomes popular and the preferred VPN Service Model (Layer 3 and Layer 2 VPN ) for Network Operators. This etutorial covers the fundamentals concepts of how label switch the packets, MPLS architecture, label operations, Label Distribution Protocols \u2013 LDP neighbor discovery, operations, and implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Target audience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical folks who are building or operating a service provider or enterprise network and interested in learning about MPLS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It is assumed that participants have a basic understanding of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Basic IP Routing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Network operations, Internet technologies, OSI reference model and TCP\/IP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic Linux command line (CLI) skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The lab exercises use Cisco IOS configuration syntax.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend the following Academy courses be completed before the start of the tutorial: *Routing Fundamentals: <a href=\"https:\/\/academy.apnic.net\/en\/course\/routing-fundamentals-course\/\">https:\/\/academy.apnic.net\/en\/course\/routing-fundamentals-course\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Online<\/strong> &#8211; Participants are advised to bring their own laptop or desktop computers with high-speed internet access and administrative access to system. It is also recommended that computers have Intel i5 or i7 processor, &gt;=8GB of RAM and 30GB of free hard disk space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Face to face<\/strong> &#8211; Participants are advised to bring their own laptop computers with high-speed Wi-Fi (802.11a\/g\/n\/ac) and administrative access to system. It is also recommended that laptops have Intel i5 or i7 processor, &gt;=8GB of RAM and 30GB of free hard disk space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Software<\/strong> &#8211; SSH Client, Telnet Client<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm Secure SHell (SSH) is allowed from the office or home network to access the lab infrastructure?
