Karma Jamyang

Karma Jamyang is the Chief Program Officer at the Government Technology Agency (GovTech), Royal Government of Bhutan. He leads the Government Networks Division, overseeing the operation and development of Bhutan’s Government Network (GovNet) and Druk Research and Education Network (DrukREN). His work spans national network infrastructure, Internet connectivity, research and education networking, Internet exchange and capacity development.

He also chairs the btNOG Coordination Team. He is also actively engaged with regional Internet and networking communities, including APNIC, SANOG, APRICOT, APAN, Asi@Connect Project. He has been recently appointed as Vice Chair of Asi@Connect Project and Chair of Emerging NREN SIG of APAN. Karma is a co-founder and Board Member of the Bhutan Internet Exchange (btIX) and serves as Chair of the btNOG Coordination Team in Bhutan.
