This workshop will provide an in-depth understanding of the key technology elements of SDN through a combination of lectures and hands-on exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Target audience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical staff who are involved in Internet technology standards, local and national network infrastructure planning &amp; deployment, and day-to-day network operations, who are interested in knowing the impact of SDN with a view to implement elements of it in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is assumed that the workshop participants have a working knowledge of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>IP Routing and MPLS,<\/li><li>basic linux commands, and<\/li><li>how to use a router command line interface.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowledge of IPv6 protocol is helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop is not an introduction.
