{"id":21243,"date":"2021-11-24T21:59:37","date_gmt":"2021-11-24T21:59:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/academy.apnic.net\/?page_id=21243"},"modified":"2026-10-07T23:45:46","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T23:45:46","slug":"community-trainers","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/academy.apnic.net\/bn\/community-trainers","title":{"rendered":"Community Trainers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Community Trainers are Internet operations subject matter experts who play an important role in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Providing localized and customized training on operational issues facing their communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentoring their fellow Internet engineers in their local economy or subregion, and sharing their real-world experiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Community Trainers are \u2018economy champion\u2019 engineers with significant Internet operational skills and experience who can tailor face-to-face training sessions to the audience &#8211; scaling it where necessary &#8211; validate existing or new content, and propose, develop and deliver relevant content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community Trainers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">APNIC engages Community Trainers on a voluntary basis, with engagements varying accordingly.
